About Mr Rakesh Bhardwaj
Mr. Bhardwaj is currently a Consultant Laparoscopic General and Colorectal Surgeon based at Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford. Following his undergraduate training at Bristol University, he completed his surgical training in Manchester and also obtained a PhD from UCL. He is specialized in all forms of abdominal surgery and has a specific interest in colorectal surgery. He can also offer treatments for colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disease. His laparoscopic surgery skills have been further developed with a training programme at St. Marks Hospital and an industry-sponsored fellowship. Mr Bhardwaj is heavily involved in research, having been published widely in the field of colorectal surgery. He also has a keen interest in teaching.
