About

Mr Aria Daneshfar is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who qualified in 1992.

Mr Daneshfar attended and finished schooling in Germany, and subsequently studied medicine at the Medical School of Hannover, Germany. He then undertook surgical training in Germany and the UK and visiting training in the United States and across the EU. In 2000, Aria's first NHS consultant appointment was at the Wishaw General Hospital, Scotland. He subsequently accepted a substantive NHS post at the University Hospital Lewisham in 2002.

He specialises in general lower limb conditions and has developed a special interest in treatment of hip and knee disorders, such as arthritis.

Mr Daneshfar has a regular clinic at Blackheath on Tuesday evenings (17:15-20:30h), and Friday mornings (09:30-12:30h). He has flexible "ad hoc' clinics at The Sloane and Chelsfield Park Hospitals, usually on a Wednesday (all day) or Thursday evening; clinic slots can be arranged via Irene as mutually suitable.
