Dr Kuan Joo (Victor) Voon works as a Consultant Cardiologist at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and is the cardiac CT lead and the cardiac lead in ambulatory care. His subspecialism is in multimodality advanced cardiovascular imaging, particularly in the use of cardiac CT in cardiovascular disease. He has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians UK.
Dr Voon regularly teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is an active researcher in the field and has published many articles in reputable medical journals; his work has been widely cited by his peers in the medical community. He has been awarded the Doctorate in Medicine for his thesis researching a novel preventive anti-inflammatory and immune-modifying treatment in early cardiovascular disease.
