Dr. Symonds' journey in breast surgery began with comprehensive training, including three years of specialised post-fellowship programs. He honed his skills at esteemed institutions such as the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute and Concord Repatriation General Hospital in Australia before further refining his expertise overseas in the United Kingdom.
During his tenure at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Linda McCartney Breast Cancer Centre, Dr. Symonds served as the Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Fellow, gaining experience in advanced techniques such as lumpectomy combined with breast reduction, implant-based reconstruction, risk reduction surgery, and lipomodelling.
A graduate of the University of Sydney's School of Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr. Symonds is committed to staying updated with the latest advancements in breast surgery. His dedication to ongoing education is evident through his completion of a Graduate Certificate in Surgery (Breast Surgery) from The University of Sydney.
With access to onsite radiology, pathology, and multidisciplinary specialists at The Strathfield Breast Centre, Dr. Symonds ensures that his patients receive comprehensive, personalised care tailored to their unique needs.
