He introduced the sentinel node biopsy technique—used for breast cancer and melanoma—to Tamworth, advancing care for local patients.
Dr Sardelic is the Medical Director of BreastScreen NorthWest Hunter New England and a member of BreastSurgANZ and the Breast Cancer Trials Group. He actively participates in international breast cancer research and oversees surgical training in Tamworth.
