He was awarded a prestigious European fellowship to train in Belgium and this provided outstanding exposure to novel interventional techniques for managing both simple and complex heart rhythm disorders.
In addition to his clinical work, he has an active research profile. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George's University, London.
