He successfully completed his
specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the Mersey rotation and
attained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. Mr Selvan then
completed his specialist knee fellowship in Manchester.
Mr Selvan currently works at Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics with a special interest in knee surgery and lower limb fractures and acute knee injuries including sports injuries.
He works at Renacres Hospital for his private practice specialising in knees problems including soft tissue knee injuries, sports knee injuries and arthritis of the knee.
Mr Selvan is very keen on patient outcomes following knee replacements and supports Enhanced Recovery forall his knee replacement patients.
He is currently the clinicaldirector for the department in his NHS practice.
