About
Dr Watson completed her medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2001 and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2005. She undertook her junior doctor years in Queensland before moving to Sydney. In Sydney, she joined the Australian Orthopaedic Training Programme and obtained her FRACS in 2015. Following this, Dr Watson pursued further training through multiple fellowships in hand, wrist and microsurgery at prestigious institutions, including Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, Inselspital Hospital in Bern, Switzerland, and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Dr Watson is a member of several professional organisations, including the Australian and New South Wales Hand Societies, the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
