Dr. Tamara AlKeileh is a General Surgeon practicing at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital. She obtained her medical degree (BA Medicine) from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2006, and attained her Jordanian Board Certificate in General Surgery in 2012, followed by a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery from the World Laparoscopy Hospital in 2017, and a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg in 2018.
Dr. AlKeileh is a member of the Jordanian Surgical Society and the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons. She has worked in both public and private healthcare sectors in Jordan, and worked as well with Doctors Without Borders, delivering surgical care to patients in conflict-affected areas. She moved to UAE towards the end of year 2015 and worked four years at NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi then shifted to Mediclinic hospitals in 2020 till date.
Her clinical expertise covers a wide range of general, breast and laproscopic procedures. These include laparoscopic cholecystectomy, open and laparoscopic hernia repair, and laparoscopic appendectomy. She also manages breast surgery for both benign and malignant conditions, and anorectal procedures such as haemorrhoid surgery, treatment of anal fissures and fistulas, laser proctology and performs other minor procedures as pilonidal sinus surgery and removal of lipomas.
DR.Tamara is an active speaker in breast cacner awarness and particulary interested in helping women to overcome their fear and worries and get their regular breast screenings as earlt detection saves lives.
