Susie is a professionally qualified counsellor, psychotherapist and accredited member of the IACP. She does individual online sessions via Zoom with adults, aged 18 and over. Her integrative training facilitates a flexible, holistic, person-centred approach which can be adapted to meet the unique needs of each client. She believes a warm, collaborative therapeutic relationship opens the door to exploration, resulting in new personal awareness, growth and healing. Helping each client develop self-compassion and connect with their innate wisdom and strength are key aims of her work.
Having spent time working in an ARC Cancer Support Centre, Susie has a strong interest in working with people who are affected by cancer or other challenging health conditions. Her past experience working as an Occupational Therapist in Psychiatry and Care of the Elderly adds to her understanding of people who are dealing with serious mental or physical difficulties, and their carers. She has extensive experience in grief work which she finds meaningful and rewarding.
