Professor Rajat Gupta is a highly accomplished Consultant Paediatric Neurologist, currently serving at the Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. He holds an MBChB degree in Medicine from The University of Manchester, and further specialised in paediatric neurology with additional qualifications, including DCH (Diploma in Child Health), MMedSci (Master of Medical Sciences), PGCMedEd (Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education), and FRCPI (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland). In addition to his clinical work, Professor Gupta holds several academic and leadership positions. He is an Honorary Professor at Aston University and the University of Birmingham. He serves as the Head of Specialist Clinical Teaching Academy and Deputy Lead for Paediatrics at the University of Birmingham. He is also the Programme Medical Director for the Pharmacist Independent Prescribing PgCert at Aston University.
