Dr. Anand Nitin Kanani is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician with sub speciality accredition in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. As an experienced paediatrician with an excellent reputation, he is leading The Vesey's acute paediatric service within the private sector.
Dr. Kanani's expertise lies in General Paediatrics (13 years), with a particular focus on acute paediatrics for the past 9 years. As a Consultant in a world leading children's hospital and paediatric Major Trauma Centre, he is accomplised in assessing the variety of complex or urgent illnesses in paediatrics (from neonates to adolescents). As a forward thinking Consultant, he won the Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Award for Research, Innovation and Quality improvement in 2023. As a trainer, he has been awarded a Paediatric Award for Training Achivements for Educational Supervision in 2021.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kanani has been appointed as a regional Training Program Director within the School of Paediatrics, West Midlands.
