and private practice. She currently practices at Nuffield Health Plymouth
Hospital and via video consultation.
Lucy trained at Cardiff University, and qualified in 2004. In 2017-2018 she extended
her training after applying for and earning a prestigious NIHR studentship to
complete a Master's in clinical research at the University of Plymouth (first-class
degree awarded). In 2019-2021 she was awarded a research internship and worked
as a research dietitian at University Hospitals Plymouth, and as Specialist
Dietitian in IBD/Gastroenterology until 2022 before moving into freelance
dietetics exclusively.
Lucy uses evidence-based nutrition to help her clients and provides personalised
dietary and lifestyle advice to help them achieve their personal health goals.
She understands the difficulties that come with interpreting complex diet
advice and information and is able to provide non-judgemental support to her
clients to help them in their journey to health and wellbeing
