Mr. Richard Nayar is a Consultant Urologist with over a decade of experience in the treatment and management of urological issues such as incontinence, bladder infections, and prostate issues. He sees private patients at the Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital.
Mr. Nayar earned his primary medical qualification at Manchester University, after earning his Bachelor's degree at St Andrew's University. He then went on to undertake his surgical training and gained membership with the royal college of surgeons (Edinburgh). Mr. Nayar continued his training in the West Midlands, making the choice to specialise in Urology and passed the Speciality exam in 2014, whilst also working towards his PGCert in Medical Education. He then undertook a fellowship in Female Functional and Reconstructive Urology at the Bristol Urological Institute. Upon completion of his training and fellowships, Mr. Nayar was appointed Consultant in 2015.
