Mr Gareth Wells is a highly skilled Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. With over 15 years of experience, he is dedicated to providing expert care for patients with a wide range of orthopaedic conditions relating to the foot and ankle. Based at Spire Elland Hospital, Mr Wells combines extensive training with the latest surgical techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients. Mr Wells’s expertise includes both surgical and non-surgical treatments, offering personalised care tailored to each individual’s needs. He is committed to guiding patients from diagnosis through to recovery, focusing on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life. Mr Wells undertook his medical degree at the University of Sheffield, graduating in 1998. Following his foundation training, he earned a place on the surgical training programme, which he undertook throughout the Yorkshire region working alongside some of the country's most highly regarded Orthopaedic Specialists. Following his higher surgical training, he went on to complete a foot and ankle fellowship at the prestigious Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, further developing his knowledge and expertise in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery.
