In Oxford, he has played a pivotal role in developing and leading the bariatric unit and the minimally invasive programme for stomach and oesophageal cancer.
Mr Sgromo is a member of the National Bariatric Registry Committee for the British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society. He frequently presents at prestigious international conferences such as the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity, BOMSS, and AUGIS. Additionally, he co-directs the Oxford IBC bariatric surgery conference.
