Dr. Slaa earned her primary medical qualification at Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed her training. She then moved to Australia and continued her specialty training across various paediatric departments at renowned Australian Hospitals. She then gained a paediatric fellowship with the Royal College of Australasian Physicians, and upon completion, was appointed Consultant at the Sunshine Hospital Melbourne. Since beginning her practice, Dr. Slaa has centred her practice around kindness and positive psychology, to better understand and connect with her patients, for the best outcomes.
