His ophthalmology training included roles at the Royal Eye Infirmary in Plymouth, Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre, and as a Lecturer in Ophthalmology at the Bristol Eye Hospital. He completed his specialist registrar rotations in the West Midlands and South Trent regions before becoming a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Leighton Hospital in 2018.
His contributions to ophthalmology extend beyond the clinic, with over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and newspaper articles. He has delivered lectures at regional, national, and international levels, including training optometrists in cities like Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Helsinki.
