About
Mr Kasmiya has over two decades of experience as an eye specialist. He has gained invaluable experience by undertaking a two-year retinal fellowship and performing thousands of cataract surgeries. He has used a wide range of different types of lenses during his procedures including multifocal, toric, and spheric IOL. He has an excellent standard of completion, holding himself to the highest standards with a very low complication rate.
Mr Kasmiya joined King's College Hospital as a substantive consultant after the completion of his specialist training and became the Lead for the Diabetic Screening Program at Bromley and the south London area and the DESP program in association with Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. He is also an active researcher and educator, teaching at several prominent international research institutions on topics relating to eye diseases. He was also appointed as an Honorary Lecturer at the Imperial College London.
