Dr. Juan Uria is a highly experienced Consultant Urologist with over two decades of expertise in diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide range of urological conditions. After earning his medical degree from the University of Oviedo, he pursued his PhD at the University of Barcelona. Dr. Uria began his career as a urologist in Barcelona at the renowned Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol before being appointed as Professor and Head of the Urology Department at Consorci Hospitalari de Vic, a position he held until 2018. Since then, he has been practicing at Mediclinic Airport Road, where he continues to provide high-quality urological care.
Dr. Uria offers comprehensive diagnostic tests, treatments, and surgical procedures, including open, endoscopic, and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries for conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. His areas of expertise include managing bladder problems, urinary incontinence, prostate cancer, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and urinary tract infections. He takes a patient-centered approach, developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other specialists such as radiologists, oncologists, and surgeons to ensure optimal outcomes.
