Dr. Jessica Lai is a Paediatric Allergist and Immunologist with expertise in diagnosing and managing allergic and immune-related conditions in children. She completed her medical degree with honours at Monash University in Melbourne before undertaking paediatric training and sub-specialising in paediatric allergy and immunology.
Dr. Lai received advanced training at both The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). She is also a member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA).
Currently, Dr. Lai works as a locum staff specialist in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where she manages a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions. Her particular areas of clinical interest include food allergy, eczema, and allergic rhinitis.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lai is actively involved in research, focusing on food allergy management and oral food challenge outcomes, including studies assessing the long-term results of multiple nut oral food challenges.
