Dr Jennifer Moon is a Paediatric Gastroenterologist consulting at Children’s Health Hub across Westmead, Liverpool, and St Leonards. She has a special interest in rare genetic metabolic disorders affecting the liver and gastrointestinal system, as well as clinical expertise in nutrition, eosinophilic oesophagitis, and coeliac disease.
Dr Moon completed her specialist paediatric training at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where she gained extensive experience across general paediatrics, emergency and intensive care, genetic metabolic disorders, and paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology. Her approach centres on providing comprehensive care for children while collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to improve long-term health outcomes.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Moon is pursuing a Master of Biostatistics, supporting her ongoing research in paediatric gastroenterology. She has a strong interest in medical education and is committed to mentoring medical students and junior doctors.
She is fluent in English, Italian, and Korean, and has a basic understanding of German.
