About
Hemesh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Optometry from The University of Manchester in 2018. He went on to gain extensive experience across the UK, beginning with his pre-registration and early career posts in Liverpool before moving into specialist roles. He has worked as a Specialist Optometrist at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital and later at Moorfields, where he progressed to Principal Optometrist in 2024.
In addition to his clinical work, Hemesh has undertaken advanced postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma in Therapeutics (Independent Prescribing for Optometrists) from Glasgow Caledonian University, a Professional Certificate in Glaucoma, and a Professional Certificate in Medical Retina from UCL.
Hemesh is known for his patient-centred approach, precision in clinical decision-making, and commitment to continuous professional development.
