Since qualifying as a consultant in 2013, Dr. Karthikeyan has continued to add to his interventional skills in all cardiology settings, while continuing to manage patients with a wide range of cardiology problems. In addition, he has been able to introduce services such as the Primary PCI programme to the population of North Wales. He is also active in research and has made a significant contribution to the expansion of research in cardiovascular medicine as well as introduction of clinical governance and risk management policies in the cardiac catheterisation labs.

Dr. Karthikeyan is dedicated to professional development and works hard to ensure that he maintains up to date with scientific progression in his field.
