About Dr Samer AlSabbagh
Dr Samer Al-Sabbagh is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist currently working at the private practises OSD healthcare in Hertfordshire and Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and his current NHS base is East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. His specialism is in endocrinology and diabetes and his areas of interest include the thyroid, gonads, parathyroid gland, adrenal gland and pituitary disease. Dr Al-Sabbagh graduated from Damascus Medical School, Syria, in 1995. He then completed postgraduate training at Damascus University Hospitals where he became a GIM (General Internal Medicine) Doctor. Between 1999 and 2001 he worked in research regarding diabetic foot disease in Manchester Royal Infirmary, UK. He has also trained at College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy, London. He specialised in diabetes and endocrinology after attaining a Membership of The Royal College of Physicians at Ipswich and Cambridge University Hospitals, UK. Dr Al-Sabbagh has an interest in new therapies and technologies in diabetes and endocrine care, he is a member of the diabetes and endocrine outreach team, the team won the national QiC (Quality In Care) award for their innovative approach to treat their patients.
