About Mr Peter Addison
Mr Addison is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital, world leading experts in eye care. He has extensive training and experience in managing the entire breadth of Medical Retina and Uveitis conditions. His areas of expertise include Uveitis, Retinal Vein Occlusions, Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration. His busy clinical practice is complemented by his active involvement in teaching and research at Moorfields, the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and internationally. Mr Addison is ideally suited to offer patients the very latest treatments for Uveitis and Retinal Diseases. Between 2017 and 2024, Mr Addison was successfully awarded NHS local clinical excellence awards for each of the 5 years that they were competitively awarded. Mr Addison is deputy director of the uveitis service, clinical lead for the steroid intravitreal injection service and founded the retinal vein occlusion service, leading it between 2012 and 2024.
