About Dr Murtuza Khan
Dr. Murtuza Khan is a specialist in paediatrics and paediatric respiratory medicine with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Dundee in 1985 and also holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc). He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Dr. Khan is currently a Consultant Paediatrician at the Northwest London Hospitals NHS Trust and serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics at Imperial College London. His specialist expertise includes paediatric allergy, eczema, and respiratory medicine. He has trained at several leading UK institutions, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, where he previously held the role of Senior Clinical Research Fellow. His clinical practice includes lung function testing, skin prick and allergy testing, ECG and electrocardiogram assessments, and food provocation advice. Dr. Khan is the Clinical Lead for paediatric allergy, eczema, and respiratory services, and Deputy Clinical Director at Northwick Park Hospital. He is actively involved in clinical research, with work regularly presented at international conferences such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, the European Respiratory Society, and the American Thoracic Society.
