Dr Dimitra Metheniti is an experienced Paediatrician based at Eleos Clinic, where she specialises in working with children who have developmental delays, neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism or developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia), complex disabilities, or developmental syndromes. In addition to this, she also provides neonatal and general paediatric follow-ups.
She graduated from Newcastle University, where she participated in both the run-through paediatric specialist scheme and the London GRID subspecialty pathway. She is dual-accredited in general and developmental paediatrics. She has expertise in general, neonatal, and developmental paediatrics, paediatric neurodisability, clinical research, and medical education.
Additionally, she works as a consultant paediatrician for the Central London Community Healthcare Trust (CLCH) in the NHS, and her additional roles are trainee leader and named doctor for looked-after children.
She lives in North London with her family and enjoys playing the piano, travelling, and watching films and theatrical plays with friends.
