About Dr John Collins
Dr John Collina was previously the Medical Director Lister Hospital and also the Medical Director of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. Dr John Collins qualified from Guys Hospital Dental and Medical Schools in 1961 and 1966. Throughout his consulting career, he held full-time posts as a Consultant Physician in general internal medicine and respiratory medicine. Dr Collins was Head of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at The Westminster and then Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals, and Consultant Physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital. Previously he had been Consultant Physician at St. Bartholomew's Hospital. He has been active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching throughout his career. Dr Collins was Foundation Medical Director at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital for 10 years and is currently Medical Director at The Lister Hospital.
