About Dr Colm McCabe
Dr Colm McCabe studied at Imperial College London and graduated in 2004, then completed his specialist respiratory training in Oxford. He then completed a MD research degree in pulmonary vascular disease at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, in 2013. In 2015, he completed specialist training in exercise physiology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, USA. He was enabled to do this thanks to the Berkeley Fellowship and Scadding Morriston-Davies Fellowship. In June 2016, Dr McCabe was appointed as a respiratory consultant in pulmonary hypertension and high dependency care at Royal Brompton Hospital, where he treats both NHS and private patients.
