Dr Aimée Brame is a Consultant Physician who has completed specialist training in Respiratory, General Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine. She specialises in pulmonary vascular disease and pulmonary hypertension.

Dr Brame works as a Consultant Intensivist and Pulmonary Hypertension Physician at Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and is an Honorary Consultant Physician in Pulmonary Hypertension at the Royal Brompton Hospital. She also undertakes private work at London Bridge Hospital.

Dr Brame undertook her medical degree at the University of Birmingham (MBChB, 2001) and postgraduate training in Respiratory and General Medicine in the North West Thames region. Following this, she went on to undertake Intensive Care training in the London deanery and holds the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) and Fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.

In addition to her other training, she also has a PhD in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics from the University of Cambridge and is active in research, with involvement in several clinical studies investigating changes in haemodynamics in a range of clinical conditions. She has authored several book chapters and published original papers and abstracts.

Throughout the COVID pandemic, Dr Brame worked in the busiest centre in the region, providing acute intensive care and post-COVID assessment and evaluation of symptomatic patients. She has extensive practical experience managing Long-COVID symptoms, and offers a comprehensive diagnosis and management plan.
