About Dr Deborah Bailey
Dr Deborah Bailey is a Paediatric Surgeon. Dr Bailey's surgical training took place in Brisbane, Melbourne and Bristol. Before developing the first paediatric surgical service on the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads, Dr Bailey was a VMO in Burns and Paediatric Surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital. Dr Bailey is an Associate Professor at Bond and Griffith Medical Schools. Dr Bailey was the Chair of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Board of Paediatric Surgery for six years. Dr Bailey was the Inaugural Chair of Queensland Clinical Services Framework Surgical Services for Children committee. Dr Bailey is a past President of Australia New Zealand Association of Paediatric Surgeons.
