Dr Juan Bortagaray is a Paediatric Urologist and Surgeon at Offspring Health with consultant appointments at the Royal Children's Hospital.

Dr Bortagaray completed his medical degree at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2002 followed by his general surgery and paediatric surgery training in Argentina in 2010. During this time, he completed a fellowship in Paediatric Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children in Denver, Colorado in the United States. He later completed his subspecialty training in Paediatric Urology at Garrahan Children's Hospital in Buenos Aires, a world renowned quaternary Paediatric Centre receiving complex patients from Argentina and neighbouring countries. After completing his fellowship in Paediatric Urology in 2012, he was appointed as a Consultant Urologist where he led the minimally invasive urology service.

Dr Bortagaray relocated to Australia in 2014 and worked as a Paediatric Urologist at Monash Children's Hospital before joining the Royal Children's Hospital in 2019. He became a Fellow in Paediatrics of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2018.

Dr Bortagaray has clinical interests in all areas of paediatric urology. He sees patients with a broad range of conditions and symptoms, including the following:
