Mr Christopher Challand

About
Mr. Challand completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Bristol and gained extensive surgical experience working in the South West, particularly in Plymouth and Bristol. He undertook higher surgical training at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge within the East of England Deanery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Challand has contributed to clinical research aimed at improving outcomes for patients undergoing major colorectal bowel resections. His research is widely published in the fields of colorectal and general surgery. He has been both Clinical Lead for General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and played a pivotal role in enhancing surgical practices and patient care.
Mr. Challand is a dedicated advocate for incorporating the latest techniques into his surgical practice, ensuring his patients benefit from the most advanced treatments available. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Medical Protection Society.
