Mr Zuhair Nawaz is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Surrey; at Spire Clare Park Hospital, Nuffield Woking Hospital and Parkside Private Suite at both Frimley and Heatherwood. He has specialist expertise in all aspects of hip and knee surgery including replacements, revision surgery and complex joint replacement surgery and sports-related knee injuries and ligament reconstruction, management of simple/complex patellofemoral conditions, corrective osteotomy surgery and lower limb trauma.

After leaving St Paul's School, Barnes, Mr Nawaz completed his medical degree with an intercalated Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Imperial College London in 2003. He then completed his specialised orthopaedic training on the prestigious London training rotation, with an additional year of experience in plastic surgery.

Mr Nawaz later undertook his fellowship training at the world-renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, undergoing comprehensive training in joint reconstruction. He also completed fellowship level training in major trauma and complex limb reconstruction in various specialist centres including St Peter's/Rowley Bristow Unit and the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Canada. Following completion of his fellowship training.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Nawaz is also active in both research and education, and is widely published in the areas of hip, knee and trauma surgery. He also lectures both nationally and internationally, having presented many times at American and European congresses.

Mr Nawaz is a passionate educator with roles as a mentor, trainer and educator, as well as faculty roles in several national and international courses training current and future consultants in all aspects of hip and knee surgery.
