Following her post-Foundation training, she specialised in Clinical Radiology and completed a Breast Radiology Fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital, London. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and an active member of the British Society of Breast Radiology.
Her career includes work at several prestigious institutions, including Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London, where she held a substantive Consultant Radiologist position until 2023. She has extensive expertise in 2D mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography, and breast MRI interpretation. She is also highly skilled in breast ultrasound and interventional procedures, including ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI-guided biopsies and localisations.
As Head of the Radiology Department at King’s College Hospital Dubai, Dr. Giambrone oversees radiology operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. She also plays a key role at the Breast Care Centre in Dubai Hills, where she provides expert imaging and diagnostic services for breast cancer detection and management.
