Dr William Eysenck
Cardiology
About
He graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology alongside his medical qualification. He further enhanced his expertise with a three-year research fellowship at St George’s University, London, where his work on atrial fibrillation resulted in several peer-reviewed publications and an MD (Res).
Dr. Eysenck’s specialised training in electrophysiology and cardiac devices was completed at leading UK centres, including the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. He previously held a Consultant position at King’s College Hospital before establishing and leading the arrhythmia service at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
In his private practice, Dr. Eysenck sees patients at HCA Healthcare UK’s Canary Wharf Outpatients and London Bridge Hospital. His proficiency in advanced electrophysiology procedures ensures comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for a wide range of heart rhythm disorders.
In August 2025, Dr Eysenck was appointed as the Clinical Lead for Cardiology at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, University Hospital Lewisham.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
