Dr. Victoria Kunene is a Consultant Medical Oncologist with extensive experience in the treatment of cancers such as oesophageal, stomach, pancreatic, biliary tract, colorectal cancers, and cancers of unknown primary. She practices at The Priory Hospital, Birmingham, part of Circle Health Group, and at The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK. Dr. Kunene also holds a consultant position at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and is the Chemotherapy Clinical Service Lead at Walsall Manor Hospital.
Dr. Kunene completed her Medical Oncology Specialist Registrar training in the West Midlands in 2012 and became a consultant the same year. She is a Principal Investigator in clinical trials, contributing significantly to the advancement of cancer treatments. Previously, she chaired the West Midlands Chemotherapy Expert Advisory Group and worked on designing chemotherapy service pathways. As a member of the West Midlands Molecular Genomic Tumour Advisory Board, she is actively involved in multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Dr. Kunene’s qualifications include a degree from the University of Natal, South Africa (1998), along with MRCP and MSc credentials.
