Dr. Valeriia Kozachenko is a highly skilled Orthodontist-Gnathologist with extensive training and expertise. She has specialised in the interdisciplinary approach of the Vienna School of Interdisciplinary Dentistry (VieSID) under the guidance of Professor Rudolf Slavicek in Austria. Dr. Kozachenko has completed multiple advanced programs at VieSID, including the Therapy Continuum and the Continuum Orthodontic Course, mastering the intricate principles of gnathology.
She holds a Master’s degree as a Doctor-Orthodontist from the Central Research Institute of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery in Moscow, where she also successfully defended her Clinical PhD thesis on “Orthodontic treatment for patients with individual tooth loss.” Her education includes an internship in General Dentistry and a Doctor of Dentistry degree from The Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry.
Dr. Kozachenko’s clinical practice is deeply rooted in the principles of gnathology, focusing on precise diagnostics and customised treatment plans. She uses a range of diagnostic techniques, such as articulator and variator Gamma analysis, muscle palpation, cephalometric analysis, and condylography (mandibular movement exams). Her expertise extends to treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders using various splint therapies, including MIO and reposition splints.
She is proficient in a variety of orthodontic treatment modalities, including braces with the Damon System, lingual systems like WIN and Incognito, the MEAW system, and multiloop techniques. Additionally, Dr. Kozachenko is skilled in pediatric orthodontics, utilising methods like plates, the Haas system, Forsus appliances, and specialised approaches like the Marco Rossa technique for younger patients.
Dr. Kozachenko’s treatment philosophy emphasises a comprehensive approach, providing full check-ups and diagnostics, crafting individualised treatment plans, and guiding patients through every stage of their care.
