Dr Timothy Liversedge

Dr Timothy Liversedge is a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist. Dr Liversedge qualified in 2000 with a degree in anatomy in addition to their medical qualification. They are interested in all aspects of general paediatric anaesthesia with a special emphasis on pre-assessment, anaesthesia for interventional radiology, plastic surgery and general surgery.

Dr Liversedge is an instructor on paediatric anaesthesia courses for doctors in training and has a special interest in the use of medical simulators for teaching and training. They have set up and led the anaesthetic pre-operative assessment clinic at a London hospital and been instrumental in implementing an enterprise-wide electronic record-keeping system.

Dr Liversedge is interested in improving quality and safety in anaesthesia and has published a number of review articles. Their other interests include digital healthcare and teaching with high fidelity simulation.
