Dr Tanveer Chohan

Dr. Tanveer Chohan is a highly qualified Consultant Dermatologist practising at Midland Skin. With extensive training and expertise, he specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions in both adults and children. Dr. Chohan's journey to becoming a Consultant Dermatologist began with his medical studies at the University of Birmingham, followed by Dermatology Specialist Training in the West Midlands. He earned the award of a CCT in Dermatology, and is on the GMC Specialist register for Dermatology. Throughout his career, Dr. Chohan has worked at esteemed Dermatology units such as the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. He brings his wealth of experience and expertise to his clinical practice, addressing various skin concerns with a compassionate and friendly approach. Dr. Chohan's clinical interests include skin lesion diagnosis and surgery, laser surgery, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss, skin cancer, mole checks and paediatric dermatology. He is also skilled laser dermatologist and treats conditions such as scarring, pigmentation, redness, flushing and many other complaints.  He is skilled at skin surgery including skin lesion removal, cyst removal, and lipoma removal. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chohan is actively involved in dermatological research, previously serving as a co-editor for the Clinical and Experimental Dermatology Journal and participating in numerous clinical trials. He shares his knowledge and expertise by training junior doctors and mentoring medical students at the University of Birmingham. Dr Chohan currently practices at the following clinics.
