Dr Syed Waseem Gilani is a Consultant Urologist at Harley Medical Centre UAE with over 20 years of experience. He completed his medical degree at the University of Sindh, Pakistan in 1996 followed by his postgraduate training in urology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. He later relocated to the UK and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Urology (UK).
Dr Gilani has served as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Muzaffarabad Medical College, where he was actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is eligible for the supervision of postgraduate training in Urology under registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. His field of interest includes General and Endourology, Urological oncology, Female Functional and Neuro-urology, Genitourinary Reconstruction especially Urogenital Fistulae, and Stone Disease.
With over 15 years of clinical experience in urology, Dr Gilani has worked in various hospitals around the globe and is well-versed in cultural differences in various communities. He recently returned from a regional cancer centre in the UK and has gained vast experience in urinary tract cancers. He has a special interest in teaching and clinical research.
Dr Gilani offers an extensive range of services, including: general urology for adults and children, men’s health clinic, diagnosis and treatment of erection problems, loss of libido, male infertility, hormonal problems, prostate conditions, infectious diseases, minimally invasive interventions, female urology, endourology and urological gynaecology.
