About
Dr Scott has always been interested in both the physical and mental aspects of children and families. After completing their education, Dr Scott worked as a Paediatrician for five years at a number of hospitals. Having gained experience in children's medical problems, they decided to train in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr Scott is the author of a leading introductory textbook on Child Psychiatry, as well as being an editor and author of chapters of authoritative texts on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. They also publish scholarly articles on the findings of their research on how best to treat children. Dr Scott leads a team of researchers investigating the best way to treat child and adolescent difficulties.
