Dr. Stephan Maschauer ist Augenarzt in München. Sein Medizinstudium absolvierte er in Freiburg und Karslruhe. Seine Facharztausbildung erfolgte an der Augenklinik „Herzog Carl Theodor" in München. Im Laufe seiner Karriere war Dr. Maschauer in verschiedenen Kliniken und Zentren als Augenarzt bzw. Augenchirurg tätig. Mit seiner über 20-jährigen Berufspraxis betreut er seine PatientInnen zu sämtlichen Störungen und Erkrankungen rund um das Auge: einschließlich Maculadegeneration und Ablösung der Netzhaut. Dank dieser Erfahrung und moderner Diagnostik erkennt Dr. Maschauer Augenkrankheiten zuverlässig und führt die optimale Behandlung durch. Seine Augenarztpraxis München Giesing bietet Ihnen ein breites Spektrum an verschiedenen Behandlungsmethoden rund um das Auge an. Das Leistungsspektrum reicht von Vorsorgeuntersuchungen und Erstellung von Gutachten zur Sehstärke bis hin zu Früherkennungsmaßnahmen für Augenkrankheiten. Das Spezialgebiet der Praxis ist die refraktive Augenchirurgie. Dr. Maschauer besitzt besondere Erfahrungen auf dem Gebiet der Laserbehandlung / Augenlasern zur dauerhaften Korrektur einer Fehlsichtigkeit. Seit 1993 hat er rund 15.000 Laser-Operationen durchgeführt, derzeit sind es jährlich über 700. Alle Eingriffe nimmt er in den in München und Bregenz angesiedelten Oculovision-Laserzentren vor, die mit Lasergeräten der Spitzenklasse ausgestattet sind.
