Anaesthetics
About
Dr Curtis works closely with patients to understand their medical history, allergies, and any concerns they may have about anaesthesia. They will discuss the different types of anaesthesia available and recommend the most appropriate option based on the patient's individual needs and the type of procedure being performed.
During procedures, Dr Curtis carefully monitors the patient's vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, to ensure their safety and comfort. They make adjustments to the anaesthesia as needed throughout the procedure. After the procedure, the anaesthetist will gradually reverse the effects of the anaesthesia and monitor the patient's recovery.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
