Dr. Goldenberg received his medical degree in 2001 from Queen Mary University of London before going on to undertake a postgraduate diploma in infectious diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He then obtained his FRCSPath from the Royal College of Pathologists. He also holds an MD (Res) in molecular epidemiology and diagnostics for infectious diseases from King's College London (2012).
