They have received multiple awards for their research, including the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) Early Career Award. They were also the Scientific Medal Runner Up of Thrombosis and Haemostasis Society of Australia and New Zealand (THANZ) in both 2019 and 2021, and received the Dean's Award for Outstanding Theses in 2023.
Dr Zheng is the co-chair for the Scientific and Standardization Subcommittee on Platelet Immunology at the ISTH.
