Sebastian Michel studierte an der Julius-Maximilians-Universität in Würzburg und begann seine chirurgische Laufbahn in der Abteilung für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie des Krankenhauses Biberach. Zudem absolvierte er die Weiterbildung zum Facharzt für Plastische und Ästhetische Chirurgie in der Universitätsklinik Leipzig, dem Bundeswehrkrankenhaus Berlin und am berufsgenossenschaftlichen Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (UKB).

Während seiner Facharztweiterbildung sammelte Dr. Michel Erfahrung in Rekonstruktionsverfahren, handchirurgischen Operationen, postbariatrischer und Brustchirurgie. Sein Spezialgebiet sind körperformende Eingriffe wie Straffungs-Operationen und Liposuktionen. Dr. Michel behandelt auch mit Fillern, Botulinumtoxin (Botox®) und PRP ("Vampire Lift").

Zur Spezialisierung im Bereich der Lipödem-Therapie und des Bodycontourings arbeitete Dr. Michel zweieinhalb Jahre in der Münchener Spezialpraxis Lipocura®. Er führte weit über 200 Operationen im Jahr durch, einschließlich großvolumiger Liposuktionen, Straffungs-Verfahren, Brust-OPs und Bauchdeckenplastiken.

Als international tätiger Chirurg freut sich Dr. Michel deshalb besonders, dieses komplexe und herausfordernde Spektrum nun in Leipzig und Umgebung anbieten zu können.
