She earned her MBBS from the Faculty of Medicine at Khartoum University, Sudan, in 1985, and went on to qualify for the Internal Medicine Board - Clinical MD/PhD at the same university in 1994. Dr. Humaida completed her Fellowships in Neurology in 1997 and Cardiology in 2002 at Khartoum Shaab Teaching Hospital, Sudan.
Dr. Humaida's extensive training includes becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2008, obtaining certification from the European Association of Echocardiography in 2012, and attending both Level 2 and Level 3 courses in Cardiac CT conducted by the American Society of Cardiovascular CT and the Cardiovascular Medical Group. She is also certified by the American College of Cardiology with Level 3 verified experience in Cardiovascular CT and holds the CBCCT certification from the American Board in Cardiovascular CT (2017).
Dr. Humaida began her medical career as a General Practitioner at Royal Free Hospital, UK, in 1989, before becoming a Specialist in Internal Medicine in 1991. She worked as a Medical Officer in 1994 and was appointed Consultant in Internal Medicine at the Sudan Federal Ministry of Health in 2000. In 2002, she moved to the UAE, where she contributed her expertise to several prestigious government and private hospitals in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, working as a Specialist in Internal Medicine. Dr. Humaida is widely respected for her comprehensive approach to patient care in multiple specialties.
