Dr Sara Izzaldin is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with broad experience across women’s health, pregnancy care, and minimally invasive gynaecological procedures.
Dr Izzaldin holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) and the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Ireland, as well as Membership of the Arab Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her Medical Doctorate (MD) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Sudan Medical Specialization Board and obtained her MBBS from Ahfad University for Women in Sudan. Her postgraduate training includes a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasonography, with membership of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG), advanced training in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery in Germany, and a dedicated Hysteroscopy Fellowship in the UAE.
Clinically, Dr Izzaldin provides comprehensive obstetric care, managing both normal and high-risk pregnancies and deliveries, including operative and caesarean births. She has extensive expertise in obstetric ultrasound and fetal screening, as well as the assessment and management of early pregnancy complications and miscarriage.
Her gynaecological practice covers reproductive and hormonal health, including menstrual, perimenopausal, and menopausal disorders, pelvic pain, infections, and menstrual irregularities. She also offers cervical screening and colposcopy for the detection and management of cervical disease, alongside family planning and contraception services.
